  Mrs. Rosette Simonds The death occurred suddenly on Saturday morning of Mrs. Rosette Harriet Johnson, widow of the late L. W. Simonds, 37 West Ahrens St., who predeceased her thirty years ago. The late Mrs. Simonds was born in Johnston, N.Y., Sept. 7th, 1849. She married in 1873 coming to Kitchener, then Berlin, in 1876, and has resided here ever since. She was an active life member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church until recent years. She was also an active worker in numerous charitable organizations. She was one of the most hospitable hostesses the Twin City has ever had and will be greatly missed among a large circle of friends. The deepest sympathy goes out to surviving children and grandchildren. Those who survive are Mrs. J. I. Frank Anthes of Montreal, Mrs. Wm. S. Metcalfe of Pasadena, California, Mrs. Harry Kreitzer of Kitchener, Mrs. Alexander S. Porter of Wiarton, and Mr. L. W. Simands of Rochester. N. Y. The funeral services will be conducted by R. G.
