  SHANTZ, Roy Kenneth - At his residence, on Wednesday, July 17, 1996, following a brief illness, Roy Shantz, of Harvard Road, Waterloo, in his 72nd year. Roy was a longtime employee of Carling and Labatts Breweries for 35 years before retirement. Beloved husband and best friend of Ryna; loving father of Paul of Cambridge, Lori and her husband Norman Yu of Kitchener. Sadly missed by three grandchildren, Stefani, Eric and Steven. Brother of Ruth Bradshaw of Kitchener. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents. Cremation will take place with final interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
