DEMENTED WOMAN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE

Mrs. Salome Lichty Will Likely Be Removed to Institution.

Her mind becoming temporarily derranged. Mrs.. Salome Licht, attempted to commit suicide by strangling at her home on Arthur street on Wednesday night and only for the timely arrival of Dr Simons and Chief Rietk. prevented serious results She was taken to Kitchener and on Thursday morning wags taken before Magistrate J J A Weir. charred with attempt of suicide She was remanded for observation and treatment Her peculiar actions have been noted for some time had lately became rather dangerous since she attempted to knife her niece. Miss label Roth. with a large butcher knife. Her two small children she didn't molest or her aged father Mr Peter Roth. who has been making his home with her. Unless friends decide to take care of the children, the authorities will step in and remove the children to the orphanage.
