    • BOCK, Ruth - At K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, August 31, 2006, Ruth Bock (nee House), in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. Bock (1990), loving mother of Virginia and her husband Paul Pink. Will be sadly missed by her granddaughters, Lauren and Kara. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Saturday, September 2 from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation. Reception will be held in the Family Centre. Complete arrangements to be announced in Saturday's Record or by calling (519) 745-9495.

      BOCK, Ruth (nee House) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at K-W Health Center of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, August 31, 2006 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. Bock (1990); loving mother of Virginia and her husband Paul Pink, grand "Granny" to Lauren and Kara, thoughtful sister to Bill House and his wife Nancy, Joyce Geng and her husband Frank, Roy House and his wife Margaret. A special aunt to Shelley, Sherry, Valerie, Jay and Patricia, and great nieces Wendy, Sarah, Kristel and Amber, and great-great nephew and niece, Travis and Teesha. Ruth was warm, caring, generous, empathetic and fun. A lovely person, she has left behind many wonderful memories and a legacy of love for all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Ruth's family is forever grateful to those who provided her with compassionate care, Dr. Carolyn Campbell, Dr. Natalie Kontakos, the eighth floor nurses, and our special angels Karen and Pam. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Grand River Health Centre, or the Holy Cross Lutheran Church Music Program. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, on Saturday (today) from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
