      On Saturday, April 15, 1978, at the K-W Hospital, nee Ruth MacDonald, age 74 years, of 247 Franklin Ave. North, Kitchener. She had been a resident of Bloomindale for over 50 years until coming to Kitchener two years ago. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Mrs. Amos Elliot) of Dundas, two sons, Jack of Vancouver and Keith of Bloomingdale; six grandchildren, Steven, Sue and David Elliot, Janice, Debbie and John Strong of Vancouver. She was deceased by her husband Leslie, on January 21, 1975, five sisters, three brothers, her father Daniel MacDonald and her mother, the former Mary Pflug. She was a member of the Bloomingdale United Church, a life member of the United Church Women and the Bloomingdale Women's Institute. Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St., Kitchener. Funeral Service in the chapel, on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Interment Bloomingdale cemetery. Rev. N. Allison Haynes offficiated.
