  SAMUEL E. GETTY Samuel Ernest Getty died Saturday in the Kitchener - Waterloo Hospital. Born in Port Dover, he lived in Paris for 15 years where he had a shoe repair business. Formerly Mr. Getty had a shoe manufacturling company in Galt and Kitchener. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clayton (Ola Veloid) Bean of Kitchener; one brother, Ira of Galt: four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Mr. Getty was predeceased by his wife, the former Edna Rogers in 1951, and a son, Harold Frederick, in 1956. He will be at the Bruce B. Smith Funeral Home, Paris, for service Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Paris Cemetery. Rev. E. C. Williams will officiate.
