Notes |
- Samuel E. Moyer, "was born August 11th, 1839. His younger days were spent in the school room--teaching. Not finding this calling to his taste, he purchased a farm a little east of Waterloo where he was engaged in farming for a number of years. Some eight or ten years ago he disposed of his farm and moved to Berlin where he lives retired. He was fist married to Jennet Bigger and after her decease to Rebecca Service. To him and his first wife were born two daughters, Mary Jane and Louisa, and with second wife there are three children, Edith, Claude, and Allan."
Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.].
