The death occurred at the residence, 120 Guelph Street, on July 8th, of Sarah Ellen Hopf: Her age was 34 years. She was a native of Listowel. Her demise followed an illness of two months duration.
The deceased woman was the wife jot Pte. Anthony Hopf, of the 118th Battalion who with three children survives her. She was a member of St. Andrew's Church.
The funeral was held this afternoon..
