- Hallman, Simon - At Freeport Hospital, on Saturday, July 22, 1978, after a lengthy illness, Simon Hallman, formerly of Spadina Avenue, Kitchener, age 84 years.
A resident of the area all his life. A member of Calvary United Church and had been employed at Kaufman Rubber Ltd. for 46 years until his retirement in 1960.
Father of Morley of Elmira, Leroy of Waterloo; brother of Mrs Clarence (Clara) Klie of Route 2 Petersburg, Mrs Julious (Violet) Murawski of California; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive. Predeceased by his parents, one daughter and three brothers.
Funeral service was held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home this afternoon at 2 p.m. Interment in Woodland cemetery.
