  LANDRETH, Thomas Cowan Peacefully, passed away at home with family by his side on Sunday, October 7, 2018, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Nancy Ann (nee Kidner) for 60 years on October 11th. Loving father of Mary, Kathy Stanley (Ron), John, and Jane Patrick (Trevor). Predeceased by brother Ian and sister Lois Okuloski. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Tom had a long, rich life that included a remarkable gift for building and restoring beautiful things most notably vintage cars and wooden boats, a love of family vacations on the high seas and cottage time with friends and family. A long-time resident of Galt, he devoted his entire working life to what began from a family business, Dominion (Canadian) Tack & Nail in Cambridge. Many thanks to the LHIN and St. Mary's (Cardiac Care and Heart Function Clinic) for their care and support. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
