    • FUNERAL ON TUESDAY FOR THOMAS H. HALL

      Funeral service for Thomas Hammond Hall, 83, of Warren Rd., retired president of two insurance firms Sunday in St. Michael's hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Anglican church.

      Interment will be in the St. James' cemetery. Mr. Hall was born in Lowville and educated in Toronto. He started in the insurance business as a junior clerk and became president of the General Accident Assurance Co. of Canada and the Scottish Canadian Assurance Corp. Vice-president of the Canadian Fire Underwriters association in 1915 and 1916, Mr. Hall was elected its president in 1917. He was a Freemason and a member of St. Paul's church.

      Earlier he was a member of the National club and the Toronto Golf club. Hall is survived by three daughters. Mrs. J. J. Cawthra, Mrs. T. E. Hetherington of Vancouver and Isabell of Toronto and a son, Douglas.
