      "He was a man, take him for all in all. I shall not look upon his like again" (Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 2).
      In sorrow we announce the passing of Thomas H. Ward, late of 85 Riverside Dr., New Hamburg, on November 15, 1981 at Toronto. Son of the late William Patrick Ward and Mary Caroline Segriff of Toronto.
      Born June 10, 1902, Mr. Ward was a retired executive of the CNR, after 44 years service. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, a graduate of De Salle College, Toronto. He served as trustee on the New Hamburg Separate School Board in 1968, the New Hamburg Town Council, 1971-1972 and also on Wilmot Council, 1974-1976.
      Lovingly remembered by his widow, the former Jean E. Cook; two sons, Thomas of Guelph and John of Kitchener; three daughters, Mary L. Ward and Mrs. Philip Leob of Toronto and Colleen, at home; two brothers, William of Mimico and Joseph of Quebec City, Que.; two sisters, Sister Marie, RGS, and Gail of Toronto; five grandchildren: Mark, Kathi-Anne, Roseanne and Maria MacDonald of Toronto and T.J. Ward of Guelph.
      Predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen Sarah Black in 1957; one brother, Rev. Richard Martin, RCN, in 1956 and his infant son, Richard Martin in 1962.
