- ALLEN, Thomas John Joseph (Jack) - Of Bond St., Cambridge, passed away peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, October 2, 1994, Jack Allen in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Mildred and dear father of Robert and his wife Linda of Sudbury, Cheryl and her husband Dr. Glen Gibson of Warkworth, Russell and his wife Joann of Peterborough, and Susan and her husband Michael of Toronto. Dear brother of Lenora Bates and her husband Alec of Cambridge, Janet Lindley and her husband Earl of Burlington, and Verna Bain and her husband John of Vancouver. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren. Mr. Allen was predeceased by his brother Howard. He was a member of the R.C.A.F. in World War II, and a member of Galt Legion Branch 121. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Cremation. Memorial Service to be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, on Tuesday, October 4, 1994 at 2: 00 p.m., Rev. Gord Griggs officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
