  • Notes
    • Wendel D. Brohman, who passed away on Thursday, was an old resident of Clarks coming here from Guelph, Canada, 26 years ago, and has been in business here since. He was 59 years of age, and was born in New Germany, Canada and married there, a lady of fine attainments, whose death five years ago, left him desolate, later he had an accident and sustained a broken limb from which he never fully recovered. His system, was in no condition to rally from the attach of pneumonia from which he died. He leaves a family of nine children to mourn the loss of a loving devoted father. One married daughter Mrs. F. Rossiter, who lives at Billings, Mont., only arrived in time for the funeral which was held in the Catholic church on Monday, Father Delfosse officiating. The service was coral entirely, singers from Central City assisting. The church was filled to the doors by friends who wished to show by their attendance, their respect for him; while no flowers were shown at the church a great many floral emblems were at the house. Mr. Brohman, was a loyal churchman, He was also a member of the Woodman and Ben Hur lodges, and member of both lodges, assisted in his sickness although taking no part in the funeral as it is the rules of the church, that the Priest alone officiates.
