  BASSFORD, Vera Elenor (nee Cluney) - 1918 - 2007. Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, on Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Bassford. Loving mother of Brenda (Juerg Rageth) and Jim (Mary Lou) Bassford. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Leah and Katie. Life-long friend of Irene Everingharn. Predeceased by her sisters, Evelyn Foot and Gladys Woods and by her brother, Reginald Cluney. Life-long member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and the Lady's Guild of St. Thomas Anglican Church. No Visitation. A Memorial Service in celebration of the life of Vera will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 110 Francis Street, Cambridge (Galt), on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 1 p m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Thomas Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
