  LASHBROOK, Vera Peacefully, at Hilltop Manor in Cambridge, on Friday, December 9, 1994, in her 91st year. Vera Lashbrook (nee Walker), beloved wife of the late Russell Lashbrook. Dear mother of Fred and his wife Barbara of Waterloo and Dianne and her husband George Smith of Thornhill. Loved grandmother of Jim, Mark and Tom Lashbrook, Stephen Smith, Patricia Doolan, Jill Kirby, Martha Kim Eckel and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill Walker and his wife Grace of Oakville. Also lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Clare Walker and her nephews Barry, Andrew, John and Martin. She was predeceased by her son, Bill Lashbrook and her brother, Harold Walker. Mrs. Lashbrook was formerly a volunteer with the Red Cross, the Canadian Cancer Society and a long standing member of the Silver Star of Galt. A private family Service Of Remembrance was conducted in the Chapel of COUTTS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Sunday, December 11, 1994, with the Rev. Angus Sutherland of Central Presbyterian Church, Cambridge officiating. Cremation has taken place. Cambridge Reporter 1994
