- V. Leslie Clemens, 78, of 499 Guelph St. died Monday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Clemens was born at Breslau, a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Moses Clemens and lived at Kitchener for the past 57 years.
He was a member of Charles Street United Brethren Church and operated a home laundry for 30 years in Kitchener before retiring in 1959.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ida Schiedel; two daughters, Mrs. Reginald (Mae) Jackson, Kitchener, and Mrs. Albert (Verda) Voigt, Waterloo: one sister, Mrs. Pearl Brown, Lefroy, Ont., and two grandsons
He was predeceased by a brother Herbert in 1951.
The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by Rev. A. Ward Woolner, pastor of Charles Street United Brethren Church.
Burial will take place in Memory Gardens.
Donations to the Charles Street United Brethren Church memorial fund will be appreci ated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
