Mrs. William Oelschlager, 67, died at 8:30am Sunday at the home of her son, Harry, Riverside Drive, after an illness of two weeks.
Victoria Louise Halls was born at Brampton, Ontario, Canada, May 24 1865. She was married to William Oelschlager, Aug 3, 1886, at Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada.
Mr. and Mrs. Oelschlager came to Beloit to make their home in 1910. Mr. Oelschlager died in Nov 1915.
She is survived by three sons, Harry, Beloit, Alfred, Rockton, and Victor, Madison, two grandchildren, Donald and Shirley Oelschlager, Rockton, also one sister, Mrs. A.F. Masters, Dearborn, Mich., and two brothers, Robert H. Halls, Hancock, Mich., and Gilbert Halls, Los Angeles, Calif.
Mrs. Oelschlager was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church since childhood. During the recent years, she has devoted a great deal of her time to sewing for the Red Cross.
Funeral services will be held at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer chapel at 2pm Thursday. The Rev. I.E. Schlagenhauf will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
