  MCILVEEN, Viola (Vi) (nee Harlock) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Vi in her 88th year. She has now begun her spiritual journey with the Holy Father. Vi is predeceased by her parents Anna (Annie) Louise Hoffman and Irvine Harlock. She is survived by her children Nancy Manning of Cobden, Reverend Rick Manning of Capreol, Patti Kraatz (Manning) and Lori McIlveen of Kitchener. Beloved grandmother of David, Heather, Jason, Michael, Pete, Siobhan and Aaron and brother-in-law Stan Michalowsky. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by husbands Harry Manning and Ralph (Ben) McIlveen, brothers Orville, Ray and Gerald Harlock and sisters Irene Michalowsky (Stan) and Hilda Dunseith (Donnie). Vi worked pressing ties for 22-1/2 years at John Forsyth Shirts and 17-1/2 years at Frame Neckwear. Thanks to the gift of a computer from her daughters, she spent many happy hours surfing the net, Facebooking, researching family history, watching TV and listening to music. Friends are invited to share their memories of Vi during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1: 30 p.m. with Pastor Terry Dunseith officiating. Reception to follow immediately in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
