Notes |
- Ditch: Death Through Loss of Blood
On the 26th ult., Walter Ward Ditch, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Ditch, of this Town, aged 10 years and 9 months, died rather suddenly through loss of blood occasioned by bleeding from the nose. It appears that the boy had just recovered from an attack of Scarlet Fever, and that three days before his death, his nose commenced bleeding. Every attention was paid him, by his parents to stop the flowing of the blood, but without avail. His remains were interred on Saturday the 28th.
