  POMMER, Weldon E. - Suddenly, on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1987, at K-W Hospital, aged 60 years, of 32 Snyder Ave. S., Elmira. Beloved husband of Anne Kousal; dear father of Linda and her husband John Verlinden of Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S. and Matthew and his wife Judy of Cambridge; grandfather of Rebecca and Heidi Verlinden; brother of Leroy of Florida, Murray of Linwood and Ross of Elmira; step-son of Mrs. Jean Pommer of Elmira. Predeceased by his parents, Weldon C. Pommer and Edith Holzschuh. Mr. Pommer was an employee of Stecho Electric for the past 35 years and an active member of the Elmira Lions Club. Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, where the family will receive their friends on Friday, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A public memorial service will be held from St. James Lutheran Church on Saturday at 2 pm, with Rev. Donald Stroh officiating. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 19 Oct 1987
