- Mrs. W. Andrew Ament, 87, of 44 Katherine Cres. died Wednesday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the former Wilhelmina Stever, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Stever of Mornington Township. Mrs. Ament had lived in Kitchener for 48 years, and was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and its Women's Auxiliary. Her husband died in 1961; and a sister and three brothers also predeceased her. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. N.W. (Grace) Lockie of Kitchener; a brother, Emanuel Stever of Preston; four sisters, Mrs Margaret Eich of Waterloo, Mrs. Lydia Daniells, Mrs. Sophia Gerth and Mrs. Emma Gies, all of Kitchener, and two grandchildren. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where a service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by Rev. G.D.A. Gray and Rev. T.E. Finlay. Burial will be in the Fairview cemetery, Listowel.
