- William E. Barr, 72 of 313 King St. E. died suddenly of a heart attack, Friday in St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Carthage, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnston Barr, he had been employed by the City of Kitchener for many years and had been a resident of the Twin Cities for more than 40 years. Surviving are one brother Russell of Strasbourg, Sask., and three sisters, Mrs. George (Tessie) Krajaefski of Milverton, Mrs. Andrew (Myrtle) Ross of Fort Erie and Mrs. Oscar (Olive) Holzworth of Kitchener. He was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by the Very Rev. Finlay G. Stewart, minister of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
