  BAER, Willis Earl Passed away peacefully on August 17, 2014 at Grand River Hospital, at the age of 88. Survived by his wife Grace, children Dr. Douglas (Ursula Benoit), Dr. Allan (Kathy and grand-children Heather and Simon), and Ronald (Catherine and grand-children Carolyn and Angela). Pre-deceased by brothers Melvin and Lorne, and sisters Reita, Nelda, Ethel and Eileen. Willis was an employee of the City of Kitchener and member of St. James-Rosemount United Church. After retiring, Willis enjoyed presenting videos of the many places he and Grace travelled to. A celebration of Willis' life will take place at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 3: 00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. The family sends special thanks to the health care professionals at Grand River Hospital, for their exceptional care and support.
