- SCHNARR, Wilma Eileen Passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Beloved mother of Brenda Jameson and her husband Mel, and Deb Courtemanche and her husband Rod, all of Waterloo and her daughter Susie Gropp who predeceased her in 2015. Loving grandmother to Melissa Pourgoutzidis (John) and Meagen Blair (Will) of Stouffville, Katie Kelly (Mike) of Kitchener and Brittany O'Brien (Shane) of Stratford. Special great-gramsbear to Maddy and Gabe Pourgoutzidis and William Blair and Baby Girl Kelly on the way. Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Reta Frickey and brother Lloyd, and her parents Gordon and Minerva Frickey (nee Schmidt). Wilma was born in 1930 on her family farm on Conservation Drive in Waterloo. After she married Orval, they farmed on Columbia Street, Waterloo until they purchased a farm in Newton in 1965. She worked tirelessly in the barn, the fields and in her gardens. Retiring in 1977, she moved back to Waterloo where she continued to live until this past December. Thank-you to the staff at St. Jacobs Place, her "home-away-from-home", for their care and compassion the last five months. Friends are invited to share their memories of Wilma with her family during visitation at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Condolences in memory of Wilma may be made to Innsifree House, Kitchener or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, Kitchener, and can be arranged through the funeral home
