- HOFFER, Marion
After a brief illness, in the loving and competent care of the staff at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, in her 90th year. Mrs. Hoffer had recently received family and friends in her home for a 90th birthday celebration. She was a long time member of Zion United Church and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Loving mother of Douglas and his wife Brenda of Kitchener; sister of Cecil Atwell and friend Enid, Lillian and her husband Jack Macrow, all of London. Sadly missed by three grandchildren, Kevin Hoffer and his wife Heather, Susan and her husband Steve Coxon, Donald Gareau and his wife Kim; two great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Brandon Coxon. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clarence in 1983 and four sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener this evening (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m., Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m., until time of the funeral service in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Risch and Rev. Fred Roberts officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
