Beloved husband of Edna Blackmore and dear father of Allan Jr. and Sheldon, both of Toronto: Allister of Galt; Jean (Mrs. Gary French) of Galt; Marie (Mrs. Joseph Walker) of Chatham; Mallon (Mrs. William McLeod) of Glace Bay; Misses Doreen, Sharon, Linda and Lorraine, all of Galt. Dear brother of Clyde of Toronto. Raymond and James of Glace Bay. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Grand Ave. North. Funeral service on Saturday, August 26th, at 1:45 p.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery. Galt Reporter 1967 ___________ "When Allister Twining Borgal was born on 4 March 1882, in Blockhouse, Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada, his father, Joseph Benjamin Borgal, was 44 and his mother, Augusta Adelaide Isnor, was 38. He married Florence Elizabeth O Neil on 20 April 1904, in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada for about 7 years. He died on 1 March 1951, in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 68, and was buried in Reserve Mines, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada." (No date) FamilySearch.org.
