Notes - LORENTZ, Jane (Jean)(nee Deas) - Passed away, peacefully, at Lanark Place Heights on June 18, 2006, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Cletus Lorentz (2004). Dear mother of Ruth Renwick and her husband George of Kitchener, Linda Shantz and her husband Keith of Belleville, Greg Lorentz, Geoff Lorentz and his wife Debbie, Ron Lorentz and his wife Rosanne, all of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Heather Renwick, Angela, Jennifer, Justin, Nicholas, Alexis and Shaun Lorentz and Stefan Grinsky. Great-grandmother of Derek, Kayla, Brandon and Gabrielle. Survived by her brother Bill Deas and his wife Katie of Tulsa, OK. Jean will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Ruth and William Deas and by her brother, John and his wife Luverne. Jean was a proud veteran of the Second World War serving with the CWAC and was a member of RCL Branch 530.A memorial service for Jean will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St., Kit. 519-749-8467) on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family prior to the memorial service from 12 - 1 p.m. Private family interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or in memory of Cletus, to the Alzheimers's Society would be appreciated by the family.
