At his residence, 124 Beverley St., Cambridge, on Sunday, July 11, 1993, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Darlene Whitehead and dear father of James Jr. and his wife Judy, Richard and his wife Joan, Steven and his wife Cathy, all of Cambridge, Terry and his wife Darlene of Hickson, Debrah Batista, Darlene and her husband Ed Dooling and Gloria Dupe, all of Cambridge; step-children. Ronald, Kim, Tammy, Tricia, William, Glen and Jamie. Also survived by 10 grandchildren: his mother, Evelyn Dupe of Manon Bridge, Cape Breton, one brother, Joseph Dupe of Prince Edward Island; two sisters, Florence Huntington of Marion Bridge and Marjorie Dupe of Sydney, N.S. Fondly remembered by his first wife, Gloria Dupe. Mr. Dupe was born in New Waterford, Cape Breton and came to Cambridge (Preston) in 1952. Retired from Jamesway Limited of Cambridge. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Monday) 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2-4 and 7-9 p m., where funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, July 14, 1993, at 1: 30 p m. Interment in Park lawn Cemetery.
