- Gilbert B. Folkard
Gilbert B. Folkard, 206 Glen Rd., died at St. Mary's Hospital today at the age of 26 years. Mr. Folkard was a taxi operator with the United Windsor Cabs. He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Canadian Legion. He served in the navy during the Second World War. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Folkard of Wilno, Ont., he was born at Parry Sound, Nov. 25, 1926. Surviving are his parents, his wife, the former Marion Pagett, one daughter, Brenda, 19 months; one brother, Jack of Wilno and one sister, Mrs. William (Violet) Merseau of Ottawa. The body is resting at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements [see April 7, 1953]
