- Mrs. Augustina Mundt, 73, of 59 Ellen St. East, died at her residence Sunday after a lengthy illness. A resident of Kitchener for the past 29 years, she was a member of Benton St. Baptist Church. Her husband, John H. Mundt, died in November, 1953.
Surviving are three sons, Harold Mundt, Detroit, and Albert and Lawrence of Kitchener; seven daughters, Mrs. Clinton (Lydia) Double and Mrs. Gordon (Esther) Bain, both of Detroit, Mrs. Louis (Ruth) Heiman, Mrs, Orval (Sylvia) Seiling, Mrs. Gerald (Gertrude) Gross and Mrs. Carl (Irene) Hergott, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. Wilmot (Mabel) McGaven of Sarnia; one brother, Adolph Frieter, Springdale, Sask., and one sister, Mrs. Karl Vierregge of Germany; and nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, with Rev. Leander Roblin, pastor of Benton St. Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
