- GOSK, Henry-At Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus, formerly of Kitchener, on Thursday, June 15, 2000, in his 81st year.
Henry was employed with Burns Meats for 35 years, retiring in 1965. Past member of the Royal Canadian Polish Legion Branch No. 412. In the Second World War he served under British Command of the Polish Army.
Beloved husband of Halina for 50 years; loved father to Walter and his companion Joyce Reimer of Elmira, Richard and his wife Cheri of Atlanta; cherished grandfather to Madeline. He is also survived by family in Poland.
Friends may call at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, 742-4481, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited from the funeral home on Monday at 9: 30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at St. Teresa's RC Church at 10 a.m. with Father David Lewis celebrant. Interment Elmira Union Cemetery.
