- Edward Habermehl of 72 Springbank Cres. died today in Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., following a brief illness. He was 68.
Born in Gadshill Ont., a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Habermell, he was a Twin City resident for many years.
He was employed by Uniroyal Ltd. for 23 years before retiring in 1967 and was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Ziegler, whom he married in New Hamburg in April, 1931; a son, Douglas of New Hamburg; a daughter, Mrs. Stewart (Kathryn) Vogel af RR 1, Elmira; two sisters, Mrs. Ervin (Violet) Grody of Waterloo and Mrs. Louis (Esther) Vepy of Tillsonburg. and five grandchildren.
The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon Saturday when removal will be made to the church for service at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Norman L. Lange will officiate. Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation or the Mount Zion building fund will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
