HAVERKAMP, Albertus "Bert"

February 25, 1926 -November 24, 2011. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forever more. Psalm 16:11 After struggling with Parkinson's disease for 16 years, Bert has entered the gates of the LORD with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. The family was blessed by a Godly father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Bert was predeceased by his dear wife Corry on November 29, 1998. He is missed by his children Alke Douma (the late Martin), Edith DeGraaf (Rick), Judy VanderZwaag and Ralph (Janet). Seventeen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Also missed by his brothers and sisters; Jan (Roelie), John (Lyny), Joyce (the late Case), Corry (Gerrit) and sisters-in-lawl Janet (the late Art), Hennie (the late Wubbe). Predeceased by his sister; Wilma (the late Dick). Visitation will be held, LORD willing, on Monday, November 28, 2011. from 7-9 p.m. at Zion United Reformed Church, 1238 Old Hwy 8, Sheffield. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. also at Zion United Reformed Church. Interment to follow the service, at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
