  BARBER, MARIA (Nee ?) Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Barber, which took place at her youngest son's residence at Portland, Oregon on February 19, 1906, at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Barber lived in Puslinch Township for a long time but moved to Portland three or four years ago. Her Puslinch home was at Barber's Corners, on the road to Puslinch Lake. She was widely and favourably known in Puslinch and in Guelph. She leaves four children, Mrs. R. Campbell and Morden Barber of Portland; Mrs. Charles Beck of Blair, ON; and Joseph M. Barber of Kansas City, MO. -Information from marriage certificates: Sarah E. Barber married Charles Beck. Martha Ann Barber married Richard Campbell. -Information from the death certificate of George Barber: Died on June 18, 1891 in Puslinch, aged 65 years, of congestion of the lungs. Born in England.
