Of 1400 Fairview Rd., Cambridge, on Wednesday. March 9, 1988, at University Hospital, London, Ont., in his 53rd year. Beloved husband of Betty Boom; dear father of Robert and James, both of Cambridge; loving son of Mrs. Bertha Ings of Longpoint, Ont. and the late Henry Ings; dear brother of Edward of London. Mr. Ings was born in London and came to Cambridge, 26 years ago. He was the plant manager of Cambridge Photochem, past member of the Boy Scouts committee of St. Andrew's United Church, member of the Galt Camera Club, and founding member of the Grand Valley Flyers. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today, 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 12, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery.
