- BENEDETTO, Susan Ann (nee Kamula)
Peacefully, passed away at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, on Friday, May 16, 2014, at the age of 49 years. Beloved wife of Anthony Benedetto. Cherished mother of Nicholas and Catherine. Loving daughter of William and Marjorie Kamula and predeceased by her brother Paul. Susan will be greatly missed by her extended family, nieces, nephews and cousins. After an extensive academic career in science, research and teaching, Susan pursued her vocation as a secondary school teacher, with the Waterloo Catholic District Board and ultimately was chosen to implement the health care program at St. Mary's High School, Kitchener. Susan's family and friends will gather from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., on Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener (519-749-8467). Vigil service will be held Friday evening, at 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial, will be Celebrated at 11: 00 a.m., on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E. Waterloo, with Fr. Joseph de Viveiros CR officiating. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery, Fountain St., Cambridge.
