  Mrs. Hiland Pratt PRESTON, March 12. Word has been received by Thomas Langridge, Preston, of the death of his youngest sister, Mrs. Hiland Pratt, 70, of Pownal, Vt., last Wednesday. The former Miss Melissa Langridge, she was born in Blair. She lived the early part of her life in Preston, receiving her schooling here. About 50 years ago she made her home in the United States and married Hiland Pratt, who survives. The deceased is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Langridge. Surviving besides her husband, are two daughters and a son. Funeral service will be held tomorrow, at Pownal. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 12 Mar 1949 pg 5
