Notes - BLACKLOCK, M. Jean - At her residence in Cambridge on Saturday January 6, 1996, in her 85th year. Jean Blacklock, dearly loved mother of David and his wife Gerry of Fergus and Sharon Heutinck and her husband John of Oakland, Ontario. Loved grandmother of Don. Joanne, Jim, Nadine, Graham, Blair and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Albert and 2 brothers Gordon and Allan. Mrs. Blacklock owned and operated Helen Hookway Ltd. ladies clothing store in Galt for 20 years. During these years she was a participating member of the Business and Professional Women's club and the Zonta Club. She was also a former employee of McGraw-Edison Cambridge. For the last 16 years Jean has been a devoted volunteer at the Cambridge memorial Hospital and an active member of First United Church. A Memorial Service will be conducted in the Chapel of Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main Street East, Cambridge on Tuesday January 9, 1996 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Cremation has taken place. A reception will follow the service in Little's Family Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
