- Mrs. James Cruickshank Passes - The death occurred at K-W Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday of a well-known Ayr resident, Mrs. James Cruickshank, aged 83 years. Mrs. Cruickshank had been in ill health for some time. The former Euphemia Ronaldson she was born in Dunvegan, Skye, Scotland, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ronaldson. Following their marriage, the couple came to Canada in 1926 and for the past 35 years resided in Ayr and district. The late Mrs. Cruickshank was a member of the former Ayr Presbyterian Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Harry Mogg (Margaret) of Calgary; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Resting at Coutts & Son Ltd. Funeral Home, Galt, where service will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 3.30 p.m., with interment in Ayr Cemetery. Rev. Dr. David Cowdy of Central Presbyterian Church, Galt, will officiate.
