- SZOPINSKI, Leonard Kazimierz
Of Bishop Street North, Cambridge, on Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Wanda Polom. Survived by two brothers, Miroslaw and Adolf, both of England; three sisters, Wanda Dziak of Cambridge, Teresa Bilyj of Toronto and Emilia Murray of South Africa and several nieces and a nephew. Mr. Szopinski, was born in Woronczyn, Poland and had been a resident of the area for the past 29 years. He was retired from Peter Hay Knife. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10, 1997, at Sacred Heart Church, 66 Shanley St., Kitchener, at 11 a.m., with Father Christopher officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
