  Man wanted for Kitchener homicide arrested in Hamilton Hamilton police arrested Habiton Solomon, number 6 on Bolo's Canada' 25 most wanted list, in connection with second-degree murder in Kitchener. By Bill Doucet Reporter Hamilton police arrested a man wanted by Waterloo Regional Police on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder. Habiton Solomon, 21, who was recently named as number six on Bolo's Canada's 25 most wanted list, was arrested Friday in Hamilton on unrelated charges. A reward of up to $50,000 was offered by the Bolo Program \emdash an acronym for "Be on the lookout" \emdash in co-operation with Waterloo Regional Crime Stoppers, on April 23 for information leading to Solomon's arrest. Solomon, of Hamilton, was sought in connection with the shooting murder of 18-year-old Joshua Tarnue on Aug. 13, 2023, in Kitchener. Police stated that day they responded to reports of shots fired outside Afro-East Restaurant, at 91 Queen St. S., and upon arrival, found Tarnue suffering from injuries sustained by a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. "We are extremely grateful to Bolo for helping to spread the information that Mr. Soloman was wanted on such a serious charge," said Cherri Greeno, Waterloo Regional Police's director of corporate affairs. "We look forward to moving ahead and bringing some type of closure to the family and community." Two other individuals, a 25-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both from Hamilton, have been charged with manslaughter in connection to this homicide. Soloman was also wanted in connection to a shooting in Hamilton on July 22, 2023. No one was injured in this incident.
