  Mrs. R. G. Brown A well-known North Dumfries resident, Mrs. R. G. Brown of RR 4, Galt, passed away at Willett Hos-pital, Paris, on Tuesday. December 18th. She was in her 82nd year. The former Agnes Alexandra Lillico, she was born in Blenheim Township, a daughter of the late Douglas Lillico and Elizabeth Edgar. She married Robert G. Brown 55 years ago and the couple has farmed ever since on Highway 97. Mrs. Brown was extremely active in community organizations. She was a member of First United Church, Galt, and for many years an elder; helped with Meals On Wheels; life member of Central Dumfries Women's Institute; and member of Central Dumfries Farmers' Club. Beloved wife of Robert G. Brown, RR 4, Cambridge, loving mother of Marion and Allan Woods, RR 2, Thorndale, Marguerite and John Hall of RR 1, Ayr, Howard and June Brown, RR 4, Cambridge, Katherine and Reg Cressman, RR 1, Ayr, Bob and Alice Brown, RR 1, Ayr. Loved by 14 grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by three sisters Mrs. A. C. (Bessie) Hall, Mrs. Deans (Belle) Cochrane and Mrs. Robert (Marion) McRuer. A private family service was held Wednesday at the Corbett Funeral Home, Galt, with interment in Ayr Cemetery. A memorial service was held at First United Church, Galt, on Saturday.
