    • LUDWIG, Alexander H.

      At the K-W Hospital, on Saturday, Dec. 28, 1974, after a brief illness, Alexander Harry Ludwig, of 43 Hillmount St., Kitchener. Mr. Ludwig was born in Hawkesville, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ludwig, a resident of the Twin City area all his life and attended St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Mr. Ludwig had been employed at the Bauer Skate Co. Ltd. for 29 years.

      Husband of Alma (Bauer) Schnarr; father of Pat Ludwig, Kitchener; Howard Bauer, Ayr; Leonard Bauer and Patricia (Mrs. Rudy Hiebert), both of Kitchener and Bernice (Mrs. Hubert Weiberg) of Waterloo, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Ludwig was predeceased by his wife the former Irene Alles in 1946 and a daughter Mrs. Dorothy Martin in February of 1974.

      Friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until noon on Monday, when removal made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, for funeral and committal service. Rev. A.L. Conrad officiated. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
