  ALTON, Allen Ray - Formerly of Sudbury, peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 27 1996, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 59 years to Ellen (nee Boville). Loving father of Myrna Gunn (Jim) of Cambridge and Richard (Shae) of Ottawa. Dear grandfather of Craig, Graham, Stacey and Kara, Timothy and Tyler Alton. Great-grandfather of Reed. Predeceased by brothers Martin (the late Dorothy), Arnold and sister Eleanor Blair (the late Bill). Uncle Al will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Alton was a retired electrician after 35 years of service with Inco. Friends may call at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home, 165 Brock St., Sault Ste. Marie, on Friday August 30, 1996 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, August 31, 1996 at 2 p.m. Private interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Echo Bay.
