EXTRACT FROM THE BAPTISMAL BOOK OF THE CATHOLIC PARISH OF KRAUTHEIM

"In the year 1801 on the twenty-sixth day of February between the second and third hour of the morning was born in Krautheim, Anselm Francis Martinus, legitimate son of a married couple, the very noble and very learned Lord John Joseph Franzmadhes, electoral archgovernor in Krautheim, a lawyer, and of Joanna Regina Wallburgis, born Pleiser, from Mainz. He was baptized the same day by the Reverend Lord A....Leo, lifted from the baptismal font by the very noble and very learned Lord Anselm Francis Lieb, intimate advisor of the most eminent Prince Elector of Mainz and Director of the Electoral Government, on whose behalf Martin Schmeuser, a citizen in Krautheim and innkeeper there at the Lion (a pub) acted. In witness whereof I have given this document signed by my own hand and joined with the parish seal."
