    • Mrs. Fred Trimborn

      Mrs. Fred Trimborn of Church Street, Ayr, passed away at K-W Hospital on Thursday, September 28th. She was in her 66th year. The former Ariel Helen McCloy, she was born in Ayr, the daughter of the late Haney McCloy and Jessi Green. She attended the White School and Ayr School. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee. Mr. and Mrs. Trimborn were the founders of Spring Valley Trout Farm at RR 2, Petersburg and ran it from 1959 until retiring in 1972. Beloved wife of Frederick Peter Trimborn, dear mother of Mrs. Jean Priscilla Stone of St. Catharines and dear step-mother of Eberhard and Burckhard Trimborn of West Germany. Dear sister of Howard of Kitchener, Haney of Cambridge, Mrs. Leona Wilson of Kincardine, Verna (Mrs. Edward Bringloe) of Stratford and Mary (Mrs. Ernest Gator) of Cambridge. Dear sister-in-law of Norman Gillespie of Ayr and Mrs. Margaret Vorhol (Trimborn) of West Germany. Sadly missed by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Ruby Gillespie and Margaret Ranscombe; brothers Norman and Walter; and her first husband. Rested at Westmount Funeral Home, Kitchener, then to St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee where funeral service was held Sunday. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
