  Cecil Ridsdale GALT, Cecil Ridsdale of 62 Barrie St., died Friday, at South Waterloo Hospital, here. He was 79. Born in Arthur, Aug. 12, 1892, he lived there before moving to Galt, in 1910. He owned and operated Ridsdale Heating, for 32 years, before retiring in 1953. He was an adherent of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, here and a charter member of the Galt Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Eva Oliver; four sons, Clare, Oliver and Robert, all of Preston and James of London, Ont.; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Bendus of Galt and Mrs. Albert (Norma) Mills of Toronto; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother. The body will be at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, after 7 o'clock tonight. The funeral and committal services will be held at the funeral home, Monday, at 2 p.m. Rev. William Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Mount View cemetery.
