Notes - LICHTY, Chester (Chet) Passed away with family at his side, after a brief illness at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 53. Dear brother to Gord (Linda) of Millbank, Cliff (Jacqueline) of Kitchener, Char Weber (Murray) of Elmira and Brad (Rebecca) of Niagara Falls. Special uncle to Kevin (Tara), Dave (Bonnie), Blaine (Tara), Desi Lichty, Trevor (Jenny), Kim Fyke (Steve), Christina Weber. Nicole Lichty and Kayla Lichty (Jordan) who lived with Chet. Great-uncle to Devon, Brooklyn, Emma, and Tyler. Predeceased by his parents Arthur (2006) and Eunice (1986) (nee Kennell). Chester was employed at Pentair (Myers Pumps) for over 35 years. Chester's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E., Kitchener. Pastor Gary Knarr officiating. Interment at First Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
