  MCMURTRIE, Christina Jean (nee Villeneuve) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Chris "Teenie" on Saturday, July 18, 2009, in her 64th year, at her home in Preston, Cambridge. Beloved wife of the late Dan McMurtrie. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Jean Villeneuve; brother, Edward Villeneuve; sister, Florence Burke; niece, Jennifer Villeneuve; in-laws, John and Ethel McMurtrie, George Lyons and nephews, Gregory and Christopher Abbott. Chris's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will deeply miss her, Warrant Officer Dan Haverson and wife Annette (Dylan and Taylor) of Brighton, Ont., Debbie Robinson and husband Larry (Jeff, Amy, Heather and her son Daniel) of Preston, Ont., and Michael McMurtrie and wife Marie (Brandon, Meredith, Jamie and Dain) of Elmira, Ont. Survived by her loving sisters, Joyce Lyons of London and Louis Farrell of Goderich and sister-in-law, Violet Villeneuve of Calgary. Fondly remembered by her in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends were welcomed for visitation at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews's St., Galt, on Monday, July 20, 2009, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 (today), at 2 p.m., in the chapel.
